Having a dog in this post-apocalyptic world makes surviving just that much better. Without going into too much detail, let's go over the where to find dogs, how to feed your dog, and how to upgrade their stats.
Where can I find Dogs?
* You can find dogs in random locations, but try exploring new locations, and speaking with traders/businessmen.
How do I feed my Dog?
* Once you have your dog, have them follow you, then highlight and select them using the B button.
* Next, pick an editable item from your inventory to feed them.
How can I upgrade my Dog?
* Just like you, they require training books in order to upgrade their skills and stats.
* You can find these books scattered all over, from airdrops, to cities filled with zombies.
